September 2004Originally commissioned by Ensemble Studio Theatre and the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, THE SEQUENCE received its first public reading in September of 2004 at the Exploratorium in San Francisco produced by The Magic Theatre. In April 2005, it was read at George Mason University under the auspices of the Bio IT Coalition. Francis Collins was in attendance and graciously agreed to join the post play discussion.
